HEY LITTLE BLACK BOY FUND
The Hey Little Black Boy Fund is a transformative global initiative inspired by the powerful rock anthem, "Hey Little Black Boy," written, produced, and performed by renowned artist and philanthropist Jean-Claude Kalí, known professionally as JEÄ€N CLÄ€UDE. This dynamic fund aims to harness the cultural, emotional, and artistic impact of the song to ignite change and healing for Black boys and men across the world.
Infusing genres of dance, funk, disco, soul, and electronic music, "Hey Little Black Boy" transcends traditional boundaries to deliver an uplifting message of empowerment, joy, and resilience. Its core narrative invites both young and old to heal the inner Black boy within them, reclaiming their identity and purpose in a world often shaped by systemic challenges. This anthem, however, is only the beginning.
The fund will provide a multi-layered, immersive experience designed to expand this anthem into a global cultural movement. Through the development of a book, short film, and docu-series inspired by the song, we will elevate the voices of Black boys and men, sharing their stories of healing, strength, and transformation. These artistic platforms will reach millions across the globe, serving as catalysts for conversations about identity, systemic injustice, and the power of joy within the Black experience.
At its heart, the Hey Little Black Boy Fund is about creating long-term, tangible impact. By collaborating with leading artists, scholars, filmmakers, and thought leaders, we will ensure that these projects are not only distributed globally but also resonate deeply within the communities they aim to serve. This initiative will change the lives of Black men and boys, creating pathways for healing, self-discovery, and leadership on a global scale.
With your support, the Hey Little Black Boy Fund will shape the future for generations, offering Black boys and men the opportunity to rise above adversity, unlock their potential, and live lives filled with joy and purpose.
